Arauco green

Arauco green:


Fruit large (130 olives per kg), broad at base and apex curved, glossy black with scores very noticeable. They are located in isolation or in groups of 2,3 or 4. . They have elongated stems are very strong in the tree.
Seed somewhat rough surface, and slightly elongated brood, with well-marked streaks.

Almond medium size, dark brown with yellow stripes; average weight 0.87 grams.

The proportion of the different parts of the fruit is as follows: pulp, 85.7%; endocarp, 13.1% kernel, 1.1%.

It is used almost exclusively to prepare canned olives. The green harvest when making takes place in March, when the fruit acquires a yellowish green color characteristic. For the same purpose are harvested in April and May when the fruits dark purple taken; are prepared in brine or dry in the sun, which gives a quality product of great acceptance in the market.

Real Changlot:

Fruits of medium size (244 per kg.), Oval and slightly swollen at the apex. Its color ranges from light green to dark purple at maturity.

Seeds oblong, asymmetrical, slightly curved at the apex, slightly rough surface, with grooves well marked.

Almond small, somewhat flattened, brown with orange stripes. Its average weight is 0.05 grams.

The proportion of parts of the fruit is as follows: pulp, 90.3%; endocarp, 8.7%; almonds 1%.

The fruits ripen in mid-March, the annual production is not constant. The average harvest is 25 kg. per plant.

Its oil yield is 14%.

Forge

Forge:

Fruit of medium size (327 olives per kilogram). Its shape is ellipsoidal, somewhat asymmetrical, arranged in small clusters of 3-4 fruits. E l-violet color is dark, brilliant at maturity.

Seed size and in proportion to the fruit, oval, slightly marked with striations and smooth surface.

Almond-sized, elongated, slightly curved, circular cross section and brown with broad yellow stripes.

The proportions between the different parts of the fruit are as follows: pulp, 84.4%; endocarp, 13.3% kernel, 2.3 percent.

This variety is characterized by its fruit ripens very early (early March) and because they are less resistant to the tree. It Vecera. It has a yield of 20-30 kg per plant. It is rustic and resistant to fungal diseases.

Its oil yield is 12.7 percent.

Zorzaleña

Zorzaleña:
